Why Invest with Heritage?

At Heritage, we recognise that the real value of financial advice is the ongoing support we provide to our clients to ensure their investments continue to meet the objectives that they set up them up for. As well as regularly reviewing the performance of your investments and giving you the opportunity to appraise of any changes in your circumstances that may effect their suitability, we will actively review the underlying funds to ensure that your investments continue to perform as well as possible in all market conditions. Our commitment to ongoing servicing is formalised through our servicing propostions - more details of which you can find below.

Heritage offer five servicing arrangements as we know different clients have different needs. As we know, some clients already have a relationship with a discretionary fund manager and simply require we set up products on their behalf. For these clients we offer our Discretionary Service. For clients who are looking for a cost effective route to manage their own investments, our Self Select Service is most appropriate. Our other three service options are for clients who value the ongoing support of a financial adviser through regular fund review and reporting. We offer three options which provide an increasing level of ongoing service. Our Super Saver Service offers access to ongoing financial support at a very competive rate. Our clients with the Executive Service package meet with their adviser every year to discuss their investment performances and reappraise their financial goals. Our Premier service is our top servicing option offering access to our Heritage Growth and Income portfolios and is available to clients with £75,000 or more funds under management.

Discretionary Service:

We will:  

  1. Recommend or you will select your own  Discretionary Fund Manager to manage your investments
  2. Conduct a review of your circumstances and investments/product every year to ensure you’re on target to meet your goals and make any necessary changes
  3. Liaise with the discretionary fund manager in order to make any necessary changes

This option is ideal for clients who already have close links to a discretionary fund manager or prefer to deal with an external execution only investment group, but still value the close ongoing relationship with a financial adviser. This service is available to all clients.

Our servicing charge is 0.5% of funds under management per annum

Self Select Service:

We will:

  1. Provide access to the full range of over 2,000 discounted funds, stockbroker Selftrade, as well as our own recommended top 100 funds
  2. Ask you to select your own funds
  3. Provide policy administration
  4. Liaise with product providers on your behalf in the event of query or complaint
  5. Provide telephone support
  6. Grant access to secure online valuations 24/7
  7. Supply regular e-newsletters
  8. Conduct a max 12 fund switches pa free of charge
  9. Provide an annual valuation

This option is ideal for clients who are able to make their own investment decisions by selecting their own funds and capable of monitoring performance and making any relevant switches.  In return, we offer access to a wide range of products that have no up-front charges, discounted collective funds and access to a stockbroker.  You will only require our help when called upon. This service is available to all clients.

Our servicing charge is 0.4% of funds under management per annum

Super Saver Service:

In addition to those services listed in Self Select above, we will:  

  1. Recommend a portfolio of self managed or tracker funds in line with your investment objectives
  2. Conduct a review of your circumstances and performance of your investment/pension fund every 3 years to ensure you’re on target to meet your goals and make any necessary changes

This option is ideal for clients who are looking for a low cost route into investments and pensions and who want access to lower charging products and funds, while being able to monitor their own policies.  Apart from our 3 yearly reviews, you will only require our help when called upon. Our servicing charge is 0.6% of funds under management per annum

Executive Service:

In addition to those services listed above, we will:

This option is ideal for clients who recognise the value of ongoing support and interaction with a financial adviser, which includes annual meetings and portfolio reviews. Our servicing charge is 0.75% of funds under management per annum

Premier Service:

In addition to those services listed above, we will:

This option is ideal for clients who recognise the value of ongoing support and interaction from a financial adviser and looking for their investments to outperform an associated asset benchmark. Because of the cost of providing this service, it is only made available for clients with combined money invested (pensions and/or investments) of £75,000 and above. Our servicing charge is 1% of funds under management per annum (£250,000 + negotiable)
